Day 1 Dali

Meet our local guide and driver in your hotel lobby.We`ll visit the Three Pagodas in Chongsheng temple,Three Pagodas comprise three independent pagodas forming a symmetric triangle. The elegant, balanced and stately style is unique in China’s ancient Buddhist architectures, which makes it a must-see in the tour of Dali.

Then We`ll explore the famous Dali Ancient City and Foreigner Street.Visit Xizhou Town and Zhoucheng village.

Day 4 Dali-Shaxi

In the morning,drive from Dali to Shaxi Old Town,visit Sideng Street, Ancient stage and Yujin Bridge.

Shaxi is a famous beautiful historical and cultural town (village) in the ancient tea horse road. Its history can be dated back to 2,400 years ago. Now listed on the World Monuments Fund’s most endangered towns. With the end of the caravans bringing war horses from Tibet in exchange for Yunnan tea, Shaxi began to lose its prominence as a trading center and fell into decline. The Friday market still exists and is vibrant, but limited to buying and selling of goods from the area. drive to Shibaoshan mountain, visit Shizhong(Stone Bell) Temple and Grottoes, Baoxiang Temple, Wild Monkey .

Shibaoshan Mountain is located in south-west of Jianchuan County,25 kilometres far away , Yunnan province, because of red sandstone on a hill , and it looks like turtle-shaped crack, lion-like and clocks, so it is named as Shibao.

Day 3 Shaxi-Lijiang

After breakfast,drive from Shaxi to Lijiang.Upon arrival,our local guide will help you to check in at your hotel.Visit Shuhe Old Town in the afternoon.

Shuhe was once a staging post at ancient Tea & Horse Road. it is also part of the UNESCO Heritage site.

Shuhe is the earliest settlement of Naxi people in Lijiang when their ancestors first moved to this region.

Day4 Lijiang

In the morning, pick you up in your hotel, then drive 30 minutes to reach Jade Dragon Snow mountain scenic spot. The mountain is formed by 13 mountains with the average height of over 5000 meters (3.105 miles); its peak mountain named Shanzidou which is as steep as a fan, with a height of 5596 meters (3.48 miles).The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is honored as the holy mountain in Naxi ethnic group; they think the mountain is the incarnation of their guardian Sanduo.

There are 3 cable cars in the scenic spot, spruce meadow (3200m), is also called “the third kingdom to die for love” and “the third kingdom of Jade Dragon”. It is said that if young couples die for love at Spruce Meadow, their soul will go to “the third kingdom of Jade Dragon” and get the eternal happiness. Yak Meadow(3700m) It is the furthest lift from Lijiang, and it is also the least visited area. Farmers graze their yaks there, and there is a temple. It is a big area of grass near the high peaks. There are hiking trails there; glacier park (4506m) It used to be China’s highest cable car, you can get close to the snow if it`s snowy ,but this cable car is very crowed since it`s very popular among Chinese tourists.

You`ll take the cable car to spruce meadow, then enjoy the impression Lijiang Show, "Impression Lijiang show " is a magnificent outdoor production held on a huge man-made stage at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, 3,100m (10,170 feet) above sea level, it is a cultural show demonstrating the traditions and lifestyles of the Naxi, Yi and Bai peoples of the area. About 500 amateur performers from 10 ethnic minority groups selected from some 16 towns and villages around Lijiang directed by Chinese famous director Zhang Yimou.

After that, visit the ancient Baisha Mural Paintings at Baisha Village. Painted over 500 years ago, the murals combine the cultures of Han, Tibetan and Naxi people displaying the life stories of the Tibet Buddhism, Confucian and Taoism. Then visit Yuhu village and Joseph Rock`s former residence. Transfer you to your hotel.

Day 5 Lijiang -Tiger Leaping Gorge -Shangrila

In the morning, our guide and driver will pick you up in your Lijiang hotel. Drive 50km/1h to the First Bend of Yangtze River, which originates from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. When the river reaches Shigu Township, it makes an abrupt turn and flows further northward, forming the rare U-shape bend. 

Then drive to visit Tiger leaping gorge .Tiger Leaping Gorge [HuTiaoXia]: A contender for the world's deepest river canyon. Around 15 km in length, the gorge is located where the river passes between 5,596m Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and 5,396m Haba Snow Mountain in a series of rapids under steep 2000 meter cliffs. Legend says that in order to escape from a hunter, a tiger jumped across the river at the narrowest point [still 25 meters wide], hence the name. [2h] Continue driving to Shangrila,visit Dukezong Old Town and largest prayer wheel.In the evening,you`ll join in the Guozhuang dance with local Tibetan people in Yueguang square in Dukezong Old Town.

Day 6 Shangrila

In the morning, we`ll visit the Songzanlin Monastery, which is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan province and is sometimes referred to as the Little Potala Palace. Afterwards,we Park and Napa Lake.

Pudacuo Park is mainly comprised of Shudu Lake, Militang Pasture and Bita Lake; the elevation there ranges from 3,500 meters to 4,000 meters above the sea level. As an inseparable part of the Three Parallel Rivers-a world natural heritage by UNESCO, Pudacuo Park also functions as a natural reserve.

Day 7 Shangrila - Departure

Our guide and driver will see you off at Shangrila airport.
